Basic Information

A place where teenagers can hang-out, have fun, learn about Jesus and impact their community. You see, we have a unique view on teenagers. We believe that they need three things:

Fun and Adventure:

Each week we have food, fun, foosball, basketball and sometimes furry pets! S.O.A.R. is a place where kids can relax, mingle, and be crazy. Whether it is the Foosball Championship of the World, a Pizza Cook-off, or one of our outrageous games - we have fun!

Relevant examples of the power of God:

We take God serious! Each week our youth explore important principles of God and Christianity. Believe us, this is no simple Bible study. It is challenging and relevant to where our kids are today. Our goal is to help them understand and meet the issues they face head on, in a world that has mainly forgotten about God.

Opportunities to serve Christ:

The best way to ingrain God into our youth is to get them to understand "it is not about me". The best way to do this is to serve and connect with others. At S.O.A.R. we accomplish this in two ways:

KidZone Mentoring: We want our younger kids to connect with our youth. We also want our youth to be an example to their younger friends. With this in mind, S.O.A.R. Youth can participate in the KidZone Service. They assist with audio/visual production, games, dramas and bible lessons. It is a chance for them to teach the principles that they are learning to the generation behind them. By teaching, they are infusing these Christian principles into their own belief structure. A structure that will be the foundation for the rest of their lives.

S.O.A.R. Special Ministry Projects: These are special projects that S.O.A.R. Youth do to serve those around them. It might be by having a boxing party to collect Christmas presents for the needy or by visiting a nursing home to brighten someone's day. Whatever it may be, it is a chance to share the gift of God's love with others.
